Slowly but surely it seems like cornrows are fast becoming the new chic and even the stars are not left out of the bug.
In the recent past, Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has been spotted repeatedly rocking ‘em and just this weekend, Big Brother Africa alumni and winner, Karen Igho was also spotted out and about in her fierce cornrows.

While cornrows have always been a strong feature in the hair journey of these parts, in the last couple of years we’ve seen the ultra convenient hairstyle rapidly take a back seat for the seemingly more glamourous weaves and even box braids. But with more and more celebrities embracing their inner African queen and rocking cornrows, do we see the timeless hairdo making a return to the forefront of the Nigerian hair-sphere?
