R&B pop star. Mary J. Blige was in deed in Lagos yesterday for the Sisters With Soul Concert and she was no disappointment. The 42 year old singer dazzled on stage at the exquisite Expo Hall Eko Hotel & Suits appearing in an all black, leather bomb shorts, a turtle necked – long sleeve cropped top and a trendy knee length shoes. Blige’s stunning figure – and those abs – was another delightful sight!
The award winning diva who landed in a private jet earlier on Friday(September 27) received a red carpet reception at the Lagos MM2 airport but that wasn’ t compared to the shouts, screams and name calling reception she got during her performance on stage later in the day. Blige’s signature short blond hair was one major thing Nigerian girls would be looking forward to trend. The star was simply overwhelmed with the love she got Friday night and kept repeating, “thank you Nigeria, I’m honored to be here”.
The Sisters With Soul Concert was swamped with eccentric performances from Nigeria’ s best soulful sisters and that included: Seyi Shey, Emma Nyra, Ms Jaie, Niyola, Eva Alordiah, Lola Rae, Nikki Laola, Zaina and Jodie.
